madVR Envy Core
The most affordable and newest model in the madVR lineup, The Envy Core brings all the key features of the higher models and puts them within reach for smaller or more modest home cinema systems. It delivers madVR’s awarded 4K HDR dynamic tone mapping, instant aspect ratio handling, subtitle management, non-linear stretch, 4K upscaling and sharpening and detail enhancement. It also gives advanced image calibration features like 1D and 3D LUTs for amazingly detailed and accurate images. For an even more enhanced experience, adding an optional Core Premium Package gives additional features and doubles the warranty to four years.

All madVR Envy video processors give us as video calibrators access to deep-level configuration and calibration parameters to allow us to fine-tune your image to suit your equipment and environment. HDR Dynamic Tone Mapping
This is where madVR truly shines. By taking the HDR metadata contained within the source content and transposing it to the capabilities of your specific system, madVR ensures you are getting the best possible image from your equipment. Frame by frame and undetectably, madVR analyses and adjusts the image for tone curve, peak brightness, colour gamut and dynamic range compression amongst other things for a truly stunning result every time. It also allows HDR content to be converted to Standard Dynamic Range for non-HDR displays.

Non-Linear Stretch (NLS+)
madVR’s non-linear stretch allows you to fit any aspect ratio image to fill any aspect ratio screen. By stretching the image by varying amounts at different areas of the screen the stretch is not noticeable and allows you to use all of your screen all of the time regardless of the original aspect ratio of your content. This is a feature loved by sports fans allowing any game to be watched in full-screen cinemasope.
