Completed upgrades to a commercial theatre on the Gold Coast
We have just completed the finishing touches to a very popular commercial cinema room in a resort on the Gold Coast.
The installation included a new 120-inch projector screen and the new Epson EH-LS10000 Enhanced 4K Projector.
This new Epson projector uses the latest Dual Laser Light Source technology to replace the conventional lamp-based projector systems we have been using for many years and offers advantages such as an estimated 30,000-hour life on the laser system.
Top this off with impressive black levels, 1500 lumens of brightness and even motorised lens memory features, this projector packs in a lot of features for the price.
Our client is very pleased with the result as this not only makes the commercial theatre room more attractive to the resort guests but with the laser light source, the cost of ownership drops significantly as they do not need to be replacing lamps every 2000 hours.
We completed the room with a fresh acoustic calibration on the speakers and subwoofer, aligning the sound to each seat and the sound quality in the room is now significantly better than before, offering deep and accurate bass and an immersive surround sound experience.
